Empowering the Future Through Robotics.
We aim to:
Through our programs, competitions, and global outreach, we are dedicated to shaping a world where robotics becomes a tool for empowerment, connection, and progress.
At AiTWobo, our vision is to build a world where robotics empowers humanity to achieve extraordinary progress.
Our ultimate goal is to create a future where robotics serves as a unifying force for human development and progress.
Cedrick Loyd Rosier CELIUS is a Haitian-born electrical engineering student now based in Massachusetts. Driven by a passion for innovation and education, he founded AiTWobo to bring robotics and artificial intelligence to students and communities around the world. Here’s how the vision unfolded over time:
During a challenging time in Haiti, Cedrick launched a personal initiative called “Mechatronics and Robotics for Haiti.” With limited resources, he focused on self-learning and sharing his knowledge with others interested in robotics.
The project was renamed “Ayiti Wobo,” meaning “Treat Haiti with Robotics.” Cedrick began inviting students, tech enthusiasts, and aspiring engineers to form a club. The idea was to build a learning community focused on robotics and innovation.
AiTWobo officially launched as a robotics club in Haiti. From many applicants, a selected group of members received training in:
Members were given access to tools and components to create projects both at home and in the club environment.
The initiative was officially renamed AiTWobo, which stands for:
The new slogan, “Let’s actively participate in tomorrow’s innovation,” signaled AiTWobo’s shift toward becoming a global robotics movement. The club established itself in Haiti and was formally registered in Massachusetts, USA, with plans to grow internationally.
AiTWobo is now building chapters over the world, exploring partnerships, and preparing new generations of innovators. Membership is expanding, and the goal is clear: create a global network of robotics leaders ready to shape the future.
“Through AiTWobo, we are not just building robots; we are shaping the future. Innovation thrives when knowledge is shared, and together, we can redefine what’s possible.” — Cedrick Loyd Rosier CELIUS
2020: Founded by Cedrick Loyd Rosier CELIUS as Mechatronics and Robotics for Haiti, a personal initiative to share robotics knowledge and stay engaged during his studies.
2022: Rebranded as Ayiti Wobo with the slogan “Treat Haiti with Robotics,” marking the beginning of its transformation into a structured robotics club. Cedrick expanded his skills in web development and cybersecurity to enhance the club’s digital presence.
2023: Officially launched as a robotics organization in Haiti. Over 400 applicants expressed interest, but due to resource constraints, 20 members were selected, with only 7 remaining after strict adherence to club policies. Members received structured training in robotics programming, electronics, and CAD design to develop practical engineering skills.
January 2024: The organization was rebranded from Ayiti Wobo to AiTWobo, signifying its evolution into a global robotics initiative. The new name, integrating AI (Artificial Intelligence), IT (Information Technology), and Wobo (Robotics), reflects a broader vision of fostering innovation beyond Haiti.
2024 & Beyond: AiTWobo is expanding internationally, with a growing community, strategic partnerships, AiTWobo continues to inspire and equip the next generation of robotics pioneers.
From its humble beginnings in Haiti to its emergence as a global robotics movement, AiTWobo remains committed to education, innovation, and technological empowerment. Join us in shaping the future of robotics!
