Cedrick Loyd Rosier CELIUS: The Visionary Behind AiTWobo

Cedrick Loyd Rosier CELIUS is an electrical engineering student, innovator, and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming robotics education and advancing technological innovation. Born in Haiti and now residing in Massachusetts, he founded AiTWobo to bridge the gap between robotics, artificial intelligence, and global education. His journey is a testament to perseverance, self-learning, and the power of technology to drive change.

The Evolution of AiTWobo

The origins of AiTWobo trace back to 2020 when Cedrick launched an initiative initially called “Mechatronics and Robotics for Haiti.” His goal was to share knowledge, stay engaged with his studies, and inspire others to explore robotics. Without external resources or mentorship, he relied on self-teaching, using his smartphone to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop the front end of a website. Later, he acquired a laptop and expanded his expertise in SQL, PHP, and WAMP, enabling him to develop a functional back end.

Recognizing the need for a structured robotics community, he rebranded the project in 2022 as “Ayiti Wobo” with the slogan “Treat Haiti with Robotics.” This marked a turning point, as he began inviting aspiring engineers, developers, and tech enthusiasts to form a robotics club. To strengthen the organization’s digital presence, he mastered WordPress and enhanced the website’s security and functionality.

In 2023, the club officially launched, drawing hundreds of applicants eager to join. Due to resource limitations, only a select group of members were onboarded, receiving hands-on training in:

  • Processing (Java): Robotics control applications.
  • Electronic Circuit Programming: Developing embedded systems.
  • Onshape & CAD: Advanced robotics design.
  • Core Electronics: Foundational electrical engineering concepts.

To foster real-world application, AiTWobo provided tools and materials, ensuring members could experiment and develop projects both at home and at the club’s facilities.

AiTWobo: A Global Robotics Movement

By 2024, the initiative evolved into AiTWobo, a name embodying its mission:

  • AI – Artificial Intelligence
  • IT – Information Technology
  • Wobo – Robotics

The new slogan, “Let’s actively participate in tomorrow’s innovation,” reflects AiTWobo’s commitment to pioneering advancements in robotics. Structured as a global robotics club, AiTWobo aims to establish chapters worldwide, with membership open to citizens of each operating country.

Currently active in Haiti and registered in Massachusetts, AiTWobo is expanding its reach, developing strategic partnerships, and working toward launching its U.S. chapter. With an ever-growing community, AiTWobo continues to cultivate the next generation of innovators.

A Vision for the Future

Cedrick’s long-term vision for AiTWobo extends beyond education—he envisions a worldwide ecosystem where robotics and AI drive sustainable solutions, economic growth, and technological empowerment. His philosophy is simple yet profound:

“Through AiTWobo, we are not just building robots; we are shaping the future. Innovation thrives when knowledge is shared, and together, we can redefine what’s possible.” — Cedrick Loyd Rosier CELIUS

AiTWobo: A Journey of Innovation and Global Impact

2020: Founded by Cedrick Loyd Rosier CELIUS as Mechatronics and Robotics for Haiti, a personal initiative to share robotics knowledge and stay engaged during his studies.

2022: Rebranded as Ayiti Wobo with the slogan “Treat Haiti with Robotics,” marking the beginning of its transformation into a structured robotics club. Cedrick expanded his skills in web development and cybersecurity to enhance the club’s digital presence.

2023: Officially launched as a robotics organization in Haiti. Over 400 applicants expressed interest, but due to resource constraints, 20 members were selected, with only 7 remaining after strict adherence to club policies. Members received structured training in robotics programming, electronics, and CAD design to develop practical engineering skills.

January 2024: The organization was rebranded from Ayiti Wobo to AiTWobo, signifying its evolution into a global robotics initiative. The new name, integrating AI (Artificial Intelligence), IT (Information Technology), and Wobo (Robotics), reflects a broader vision of fostering innovation beyond Haiti.

2024 & Beyond: AiTWobo is expanding internationally, with a growing community, strategic partnerships, and the planned launch of its U.S. chapter. Now boasting over 40 dedicated members, AiTWobo continues to inspire and equip the next generation of robotics pioneers.

From its humble beginnings in Haiti to its emergence as a global robotics movement, AiTWobo remains committed to education, innovation, and technological empowerment. Join us in shaping the future of robotics! 🚀
